I'm just glad to be writing

No one described serenity as being this messy, this uncertainly as letters jumped together to form words. Words banded together to form sentences. Sentences, just as picky and desperate, started to group into small paragraph like towns. Eventually the paragraphs over took the pages and great cities with tall emotions and deep thoughts burst into bloom. Nothing had to make sense, not in the base of the matter as words flew across the pages. Black letters dancing across snow white sheets as feelings and thoughts flooded the surface. Maybe that’s where I stood in my understanding. Uncertain as letters turned to words until they flooded pages in great gasping breaths as I tried to keep my head above the water of fleeting emotion. Praying that my one joy would not be my demise.

I beat The Last Story! I really enjoyed the game and the characters; I loved the art and the music. I want to slap Dagran and Zangurak reminds me of Ganondorf. My favorite chapters are the Haunted house and the Arganon Temple! I would do those a thousand times if I could. I do wish that more characters would have had their backgrounds fleshed out more (or maybe I just missed it). Still, I do appreciate that my opinions on specific characters changed throughout the game. Yurick and Therius are the two that come to mind first I found them to be quite enjoyable characters the more time I spent with them. I appreciate things like that.

I want to get part of my paper written today. I did the research and started the introduction. I also need to get the results for my TB test. Now I just need to get through the mini-interview, get my fingerprints, and get my transcripts. There’s also the messy business about paying for the sub license. When I say messy, I just mean that I need to pay for it somehow. So basically, I just need to set aside money for that.

Bwah! Okay so I got up this morning with the intention of being productive. Dubs finished her JRPG Generator. They were so ridiculous but would make hilarious adventure stories. Forty prompts and an hour and a half later. OOPS. At least they’ll be good for short stories! It’ll be fun! I want to write them all one day. I’ll most likely add them at Free Writing when I do write them.

On the upside, I did get my discussions for the week done. So I was productive just much slower than I had intended.

Been trying to get through the stuff I need for subbing! It’s a slow process and I had to reschedule the interview I had on Thursday. I’ll do it Monday. I also need to get the results of the TB test on Saturday.

I’ve also been playing The Last Story. I love the Haunted House quest. Between Yurick and Cherri, I could not stop laughing. They had almost the same reaction to everything in the mansion. I know I shouldn’t laugh but I really did have a good time with it. I’m also happy I finally dealt with Jirall. Now if I could just find Dagran, who has seemed to be missing for some very important moments of the game. Over all, I’m really enjoying the game. I’ve adjusted to the battle system so I don’t dislike it as much. I do wish that the crossbow was optional, though!

I started up The Last Story yesterday. I’m not very far, I just got back to the Inn on Lazulis(?) Island. I’m about to run around and look through the town. First off, not overly fond of the battle system. I think, in general, because it’s new. I’ll adjust. Second, I love that I can change color palates for clothes immediately. Third, the music and art are absolutely fantastic. I love the music it plays on the startup screen.

I PASSED. THE. CBEST. YES!

I picked up Eternal Poison. It’s a gothic strategy game. The art is lovely and the music is too. Story is kind of vague though. I started up Olifen’s story. I’m not too fond of his personality. I really like Logue even though the core of his character this far is predictable. I was playing it to be doing something, but I don’t know if I’m really enthralled with it. I was considering playing Last Story instead.

My teacher this class is very speedy with responses. She also seems very engaging. I really like that she takes the time to make sure we understand what is required of us! I think it’s absolutely fantastic.
